Century-old handmade bricks, known as mattoni, are reclaimed from DIFFERENT REGIONS THROUGHOUT ITALY.  ORIGINALLY USED AS BUILDING BLOCKS FOR barns and farmhouses. Brimming with a myriad of colors and textures, these bricks effortlessly infuse a touch of rustic elegance into any home.  Every individual brick, whether it hails from a historic building or COUNTRY SIDE VILLA, bears a tale waiting to be discovered.  This contributes to a distinctive touch that enriches the ambiance of your space, making it truly one-of-a-kind.  these cherished bricks come in a classic earthy red hue TYPICAL OF THE TUSCAN REGION or a delightful yellow blend TYPICAL OF THE SOUTHER PART OF ITALY, offering versatility in design and character.

VENEER

We also provide a precut version or sliced variation, specifically designed for veneering a wall or other surfaces for situations where a full 2-inch thickness is not necessary.  By utilizing this thinner version, one can achieve the desired outcome of a robust brick structure, resembling traditional methods, while simultaneously avoiding the additional burden of excess weight and mass.

In this lot THERE is a 6” x 12” x 2” THICK OLD brick in the TUSCAN red color tone. a vibrant addition for your building or landscaping projects.

Dimensions

USUALLY RECLAIMED IN A VARIETY OF DIMENSIONS of which the most common are:  4" x 8" x 2.5" THICK - 5.5" x 11" x 2.5" THICK  - 6" x 12" x 2" thick  and occasionally some special SIZES.  Each brick, even within the same lot, exhibits variation in thickness and size, typically ranging within a half-inch margin.   FOR THIS REASON IT'S ESSENTIAL TO APPLY THE RIGHT QUANTITY OF ADHESIVE TO ACHIEVE THE REQUIRED LEVELNESS.  IT MAY ALSO REQUIRE SOME SURFACE or back SANDING FOR A BETTER ALIGNMENT DURING THE INSTALLATION PROCESS.

IN this lot THERE is a 5”1/2 x 11” x 2”1/2 brick IN THE SIENESE yellow color tone. A popular color for paths, driveways, and other applications.
