General Description

Century old handmade tiles are reclaimed from Tuscany and Northern Italian barns and farmhouses.  Rich in color and textures, add essential country charm to a house.   Each piece is unique and carefully selected.
These tiles vary from earthy red to pale peach in a casual mix and with different textures depending on foot traffic and weather exposure.  A smoother and honed finish is also available for those seeking a more refined aesthetic touch to their project.

Dimensions 

EACH PIECE EXHIBITS VARIATION IN THICKNESS AND SIZE, TYPICALLY RANGING WITHIN 1/4" MARGIN.   FOR THIS REASON IT'S ESSENTIAL TO APPLY THE RIGHT QUANTITY OF ADHESIVE TO ACHIEVE THE REQUIRED LEVELNESS.  IT MAY ALSO REQUIRE SOME SURFACE OR BACK SANDING FOR A BETTER ALIGNMENT DURING THE TILE INSTALLATION PROCESS. 
Typically reclaimed in these sizes ( +/-  1/4” MARGINS) :
4" x 4",  4" x 8",  6”x 6”,  6”x 12”,  10”x 10”,  1”x 6” and 1”x 12”  breadsticks,  and many other custom sizes to create your favorite patterns.

sURFACE FINISH/TEXTURE : 

Available in THEIR ORIGINAL RUSTIC FINISH,  a SLIGHTLY HONED FINISH TO PARTIALLY REDUCE THE EXTREME ROUGHNESS OFF THE ORIGINAL TEXTURE, AND a COMPLETELLY smooth ‘honed’ finish.

A CUSTOM PATTERN of 4"x8" DIAMOND SHAPE TILES with a 6"x12" border. STAIR TREADS are in SOLID PIECES OF TERRACOTTA.
